Brandy Heyde Montague
Hi, I’m Brandy, the Founder of For Animals. For Earth. I have been passionate about helping animals since I declared myself a vegetarian at three years old. ;-) Over the years I’ve done various projects to help in animal welfare as an industrial engineer, a graphic designer, and a community advocate.
I started an eco conscious clothing line (Trendy Little Sweethearts) in 2016 to help various animal welfare groups around the world. After being catapulted into the world of fashion, I discovered a second passion: saving the Earth.
I now run For Animals. For Earth., hand paint any clothing that we sell in our Etsy shop, and host our show. I am a reiki practitioner and animal reiki teacher. I’m mom to 4 kids, 2 human and 2 fur. To learn more about me, read , or this one by Fashion for Conservation, or listen to these podcasts where I’ve been a guest. To say hi, come find me on Instagram.

Zoe Wang
Hi, I’m Zoe, and I’m the Social Media Intern at For Animals. For Earth. I’m a current graduate student of USC Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism. Before studying social media, I studied film, and I had a great interest in protecting the environment and animals. I have been a volunteer for environmental protection organizations and also made a documentary about protecting the environment.
In my daily life, I adopted two guinea pigs, they are very cute. I insist on garbage sorting and recycling mineral water bottles. I also regularly clean up my closet and donate clothes I no longer wear. I believe that the responsibility to protect the earth is realized under every small step that everyone has done. I also hope I can learn more about how to protect the earth during my internship at For Animals. For Earth. Learn more about Zoe in her interview here.

Shawn Montague
Hello, I’m Shawn. I’m married to Brandy and also sit on the Board of Advisors for For Animals. For Earth. I work as a project executive at Walt Disney Imagineering, leading development projects for the Walt Disney Company.
I love sports, especially ice hockey and soccer, and enjoy playing and teaching my kids about them. In my free time, you’ll find me either playing sports or heading out into the great outdoors on hikes or camping trips with my family.
Prior to meeting my wife, Brandy, I wasn’t focused on animal welfare or sustainability. But over the years I have come to appreciate how all of us can have an impact on the welfare of animals and the earth. I am excited about the curated tips that we offer for those that have a busy lifestyle, but want to lend a helping hand as well.

Diversity, Equity & Inclusion
A note from Brandy…
I am passionate about all living souls being treated with love and compassion. I have endlessly more to learn about inequality and hope that my life will continue to bring more opportunities to learn, and more opportunities to make a difference. I love that we’re seeing inequality and structural racism at the front of conversation right now, and I hope that will continue as we figure out how to make things better.
I am committed to not only bringing diversity into my life, but into For Animals. For Earth. If you, or someone you know, would like to contribute to our blog, or be a guest on our podcast, please contact me. I would love to continue the conversation of inequality as it relates to animal welfare and saving the environment. It’s no question that it’s a privilege to even think about buying more conscious goods, or keeping toxins out of our lives. And that should be the right of every person, animal, and living being who shares this planet.
