Tom joins me from Pacific Grove, California to talk about short form animal welfare movies with Animal Welfare Media. Tom is an executive producer at Kibble Creative, where he makes videos, short films, and documentaries to help animal interest groups further their mission in the world.
Tom is an extremely talented individual. He’s a writer, producer, director and multiple Emmy award winner. He has taken the skills that he has learned through many years in the industry and uses them to help animals.
As you know, I’m very much on my journey to using my skills to help animals, and Tom’s creativity and success fascinates me. I was so excited to sit down with him and learn more. He is able to take what is typically a very tough topic to bring up in the world (animal welfare) and format in a way that catches our attention, but doesn’t leave us in despair and fear. You’ll have fun watching some of his animal welfare movies linked below.
2 Simple Ideas To Make a Difference:
1. THINK. Sometimes we go through life in a routine and don’t really notice how what we’re doing impacts people, animals and the environment. If we stop to think a few times a day, we’ll cultivate more awareness of our impact in the universe.
2. COMPASSION FOR INSECTS. Rather than killing the next bug we find in our house (yes even those spiders ;-), try taking it outside with a piece of paper and gently laying it on the ground.
